Commodes

Commode chairs are portable toilets, designed to be placed at the bedside of a disabled individual whose activity is very limited. They typically consist of a frame and a waste receptacle that can be easily removed and emptied. Having such a device close at hand is especially helpful for those too debilitated to make the trip to the bathroom.

Raised Toilet Seats

Raised toilet seats are attachments that provide greater ease for patents when lowering themselves into seated positions, or rising into a standing position. By increasing the height that a user must descend or ascend from, these products make it easier for those with physical impairments to toilet themselves safely.

Shower Seats & Bath Benches

Shower seats and bath benches provide safety and stability in the shower. Most models feature rubberized feet to prevent slippage, handles to help the user grip, and drainage holes on the seat and legs to prevent the chair itself from retaining water. Don’t let fatigue and balance issues stop you from comfortably maintaining your hygiene; browse our selection and see which product is right for you.

Sitz Bath

A sitz bath is a warm, shallow bath that cleanses the perineum – the space between the rectum, vulva, or scrotum. You can give yourself a sitz bath in your bathtub or with a plastic kit that fits over your toilet. This kit is a round, shallow basin that often comes with a plastic bag that has long tubing on the end. The bag can be filled with warm water and used to safely fill the bath via the tubing. The basin is slightly larger in size than a standard toilet bowl so it can be easily and securely placed underneath the toilet seat to allow you to remain seated while taking a sitz bath. The kit is available in many stores and pharmacies.

Toilet Safety Rail

The toilet safety rail offers secure assistance when sitting on, or standing up from, the toilet. This unit is assembled easily without tools and mounts to your existing toilet. The padded handles are easy to grip and comfortable to rest your arms on. The handles are also width-adjustable to allow optimum comfort.

Bathroom Transfer Benches

For some, buying several different bath safety products may prove inconvenient, but fortunately we have plenty of bathroom transfer systems available for purchase. These systems offer a full complement of bath safety products, and can include options for toileting, shower/tub transfer, and mobility. If you need the assistance that bath safety products provide, but prefer an all-in-one option, you’re in the right place.

Built for those who find it difficult or impossible to stand long enough to shower, shower seats & bath benches are designed to be placed in the tub, and will support your weight comfortably as you bathe — despite the slick conditions. Most models feature rubberized feet to help prevent slippage, handles to help with user grip, and drainage holes on the seat and legs to prevent the chair itself from retaining water. Bath Safety Rails

Bathtub safety rails attach securely to your tub providing a safe surface to hold onto while entering or leaving the bath. They attach to most standard tubs with clamps that fit over the bathtub edges and come equipped with pads to prevent any damage to the tub’s surface. Grab bars are designed for those who have difficulty lowering themselves to a seated position, or rising to a standing position. These devices affix to the bathroom or shower wall, providing the user with a handhold as needed. We have both permanent and temporary options available, so whether you’re recovering from an injury or dealing with a permanent disability, you’ll have no trouble finding the support you need.
